2010 albums!

Here are some of the albums I'm looking forward to in 2010. I've heard a few of them already and it has only confirmed my excitement.
LOCAL NATIVES - Gorilla Manor This has been released in Europe for a little while now. French Kiss will be releasing it in early 2010. It is great. They have an amazing Talking Heads cover. I can't wait to see them live.

YEASAYER - Odd Blood These guys are weird enough as it is, but with their new single "Ambling Alp" they have released this video: crazy town, but that song is freakin' catchy.

SPOON - Transference
It's Spoon. Of course I'm looking forward to it.

BEACH HOUSE - Teen Dream.

Chilly in December

It was a wonderful 16 degrees for me on my way to work this morning. I rode my bicycle and wished I hadn't the whole way. Lovely. According to the calendar, winter is still two weeks away. I'm not a fan of the cold.
The Curious Comedy Holiday show opened over this past weekend. It only runs for three weeks so you better stop in to check it out. It's fun.
The thanksgiving trip(s) to Boston and Chicago were both great. It was nice to see so many friends in Chicago. I did get a little homesick, but it also made me enjoy what I'm doing here in Portland even more. Hopefully all my friends from Chicago will be able to get the chance to come visit Portland and play in our theater.
